Proclamation: The Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, The Light of the World is the restoration of the Church Christ founded in the first century of our current era with the goal of announcing the good news of salvation to everyone. Its restoration began in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon in Mexico on April 6, 1926 with the calling of teacher Aaron Joaquin Gonzalez to Apostleship. The Church remains in unwavering faithfulness to God, the hierarchy, doctrine, sacred acts, as well as the celestial promises, established and given by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

The Church was founded on and by our Lord Jesus Christ who, by His sacrifice, has granted us forgiveness of sins and justification before God as well as a promise of eternal heavenly life.

History of the Church

The Church of Jesus Christ is unique and indivisible; it is eternal because it’s always existed in God’s plan.

In accordance with the Internal Statutes of the Christian Doctrine, the Church has a defined ecclesiastical organization, "And God ordained in the church, first apostles ..." 1 Corinthians 12:28-31

We Are the Light of the World

The Light of the World Church establishes three types of guiding principles for the lives of its members; the religious, moral and civic. These principles are of a guiding nature and do not oppose nor violate the inalienable rights of any human being.

    What are our religious principles?

WE BELIEVE in the existence of a singular and universal God. 1 Kings 8: 23 "... there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You,”...»

WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, the son of God and Savior of the world. Acts 8: 37 “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”...»

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was conceived by the intervention of the Holy Spirit in the womb of a holy, blessed, virgin whose name was Mary. Luke 1: 28-35 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”...» WE BELIEVE that the Bible is a rule of faith, useful for teaching human beings the way to salvation. 2 Timothy 3: 16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction of righteousness"...»

WE BELIEVE in the love of God that we may be called His children. 1 John 3: 1 "See what love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God"...»

WE BELIEVE that the death of Jesus Christ vindicates man before God and that through his sacrifice, mankind is made acceptable and pleasing before God. John 3: 16 "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...»

WE BELIEVE in the calling of the Apostles of Jesus Christ who are sent to reveal the will of God for Salvation. Acts 13:47 "I have set you for the light of the nations....»

WE ACCEPT the water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin. Acts 2: 38 "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ...» WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as the confirmation God gives man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. John 3: 5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born...»

WE BELIEVE in God's plan for salvation for all nations because God shows no partiality toward any person, race, color, language, political opinion or economic position. 1 Timothy 2: 4 "Who wants all men to be saved...»

WE BELIEVE that persuasion, conviction and reason are the most steadfast basis of any creed and/or faith. Acts 26:28 "...you almost persuade me to be a Christian....»

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ established a Church that those who will accept his calling may attain salvation. John 10:16 "... and they will hear My voice; and there shall be one flock and one shepherd."...» WE PROCLAIM the second coming of Jesus Christ who will repay each according to their deeds. Luke 21: 27 "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."...»

    What are our Civic Principles?

    1. WE AFFIRM that we have the right to integrate into the general contexts of society; work, health and education without be subject to discrimination, limitations or any religious prejudice in the exercise of our constitutional guarantees.

    2. WE BELIEVE that governments are established to impart justice by punishing those who do wrong and protecting those who do good. Romans 13: 1-5 "Let every man submit to the authorities...»

    3. WE PRAY for the authorities because it is God's commandment to respect every human institution. 1 Timothy 2: 1-3 “...prayers... be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority».

    4. WE ARE OBLIGATED as citizens to abide by the laws of each country, respect their different cultures and patriotic symbols.

    5. RESPECT for life is a divine stipulation and it is our duty to uphold it. 1 Corinthians 3: 16 "Do you not know that you are the temple of God...».

    Moral Principles

WE RECOGNIZE man's free will as the guiding principle of his behavior.

WE ACCEPT sincere, honest and open dialogue, which will develop our criteria and competence.

WE CONSIDER that fanaticism and religious intolerance limit the development of nations; therefore, we open our doors to knowledge that eradicates poverty, ignorance, vices and drug addiction.

WE BELIEVE science to be a gift of God and its knowledge should serve the greatest causes of humanity, favoring the progress and development of the nations.

WE AFFIRM that every person has the right to freedom of thought and because of that should be able to choose the religious creed of their liking without suffering any sort of threat or injury.

WE CONSIDER that unnatural rules such as imposing certain marital statuses, the dispossession of property or any attempt of harm to the integrity of a family is contrary to any ethical/moral principles

WE RESPECT non-discriminatory treatment towards believers who enjoy their due benefits according to the norms of our Church.
