Holy Convocation 2023
In the course of the year 2023, the faithful of the Light of the World participated in the Holy Supper in 23 countries of Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Oceania.
Starting in February of this year and until this past August, there were 60 cities where millions of faithful gathered to fulfill the mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ on the night He was betrayed: “Do this in remembrance of me”.
In each of the venues of the celebration there were large gatherings where the bread and wine were blessed by representatives of the apostolic authority, and given to each one of the attendees.
The deacons and pastors sent to serve the Lord’s Table also participated in imparting spiritual counsel to the members of this community of faith.
The most attended celebration was held in the west of the country of Mexico, in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, which reunited 550,000 faithful in the church of Beautiful Province; the Holy Supper celebrated in Colombia gathered more than 100 thousand brethren in 5 venues; and the one held in El Salvador gathered 150 thousand people in 6 venues.
The common characteristic of all these gatherings was the harmonious coexistence of the faithful, in an atmosphere of love, peace and Christian fraternity, without distinction of race, gender or social condition.
