The Holy Convocation 2024 – held in the city of Ontario, California on March 25, began with the Welcoming Ceremony for the delegates from many cities of California who participated in this sacred memorial. The religious festivity was held in the Toyota Arena.

The inaugural event was followed by two days of biblical studies on Christian values and principles – the highlight of the second day was a baptismal ceremony.

The attendees expressed happiness and spiritual rejoicing: they waved their hands in fraternal salutation; the Monumental Choir of California, sang songs of praises to God, including “Welcome, welcome,” in an atmosphere of fraternity and respect.

In the magnificent arena, in which the brethren gathered for the three days of the Holy Convocation, the delegations from the cities of California commemorated the Lord’s Supper, a celebration instituted by Jesus Christ in which his life, work, passion, death and resurrection are commemorated.

It should be noted that all activities were presented for audiences in Spanish and English, respectively, in the “Toyota Arena” and in one of its annexed spaces.

One of the most joyful moments of the Welcome Ceremony took place when a message from the Apostle of Jesus Christ, Naasón Joaquín García, was read to the faithful: “Today, as the feast has begun in the designated place, I want to tell you that I am with you.”

The Welcoming Ceremony marked the beginning of the activities scheduled for the Holy Supper, a celebration instituted by Jesus Christ in memory of his death to be celebrated on the evening of March 27.
